The Lifeline Design:

The lifeline design is inspired by the leap of faith Carolyn Jones, ECO and Founder, experienced during the last days of her mother, Mrs. Jean James life. Mrs. James, who battled with breast cancer, gave her daughter the inspiration to leave her corporate occupation and embark on a journey to find what would give her true happiness. In homage to her mother, Carolyn Jones created the name PRVCY (pronounced Privacy) as her brand from a conversation she had with her mother wanting more privacy from her hospital gown.

The lifeline design tells the story of complacency in Carolyn’s professional life to the tragedy of losing her mother to breast cancer, only to triumph through listening to the words of her mother to find a career with passion.

The company has funded and provided free mammograms to women across the United States and will continue this program as one of the company’s core initiatives. The company has also committed to give back up to ten percent of ALL sales proceeds towards breast cancer awareness and free mammogram programs. The company has donated several hundred thousand dollars to breast cancer related programs since 2003.

The three threads of the lifeline design:

“Faith” that we can reach and teach the masses about early detection for breast cancer. Early detection provides a better chance to successfully fight breast cancer.

“Hope” that a cure for breast cancer is on the way. We will continue to do all that we can to provide information concerning treatment to those that need it. We will also continue our efforts in providing free mammograms to thousands of women across the country.

“Love” for what we do and we are totally devoted to creating the perfect denim. We will pour all of our love into every style and every fit everyday.

At Pink Saloon we love a social salad but when it comes to our denim we keep a “tight knit” circle. Call us elitists but we believe in jeans that fit, flatter, and make us want to strut.
